Water For the Home
Jan 3rd, 2006 under ArticlesSo how do you get clean drinking water for the home?
1. You can buy bottled water and lug it home every other day:

2. You can opt for potable water that will be delivered to your house:

If you notice, this is made up of the bottle of water (sitting upside-down on top) and the water dispenser (white in color). Many times, it’s 8rmb per container, but you usually have also to buy the container which costs anything from 40rmb to 80rmb each. Some of these companies who deliver the potable water to you may have a promotion that gives you a dispenser as part of the deal. Usually that means buying upwards of 40 tickets at the start, meaning (8 * 40) = 320rmb in upfront cost.
Otherwise, you can buy such a dispenser in places that that sell them, for example GOME or SUNING.
Everytime you want water, just call the company and they’ll send someone over to deliver the water.
3. You can get a Water Filter over a Dispenser:

In this photo, the thing that sits on top is not what’s delivered to you. Nothing’s delivered to you. You buy both the water filter (the bluish thing that sits on top) and the water dispenser (white again). This dispenser can deliver hot water and is plugged in to an electrical socket, so that it can heat water up.
Same thing. You can buy them at places that sell electrical appliances.
a safe bet is to use coca cola delivered water. even if they screw up and give us bad water, they are probably better off than thte other water provider companies.
